Darius Lukas

Karas Fujiyama, Principal Bootcamp Teacher

'I was born into a family that has passed down the art of sword fighting from generation to generation. My father is the third generation to pass down the Sensin style to me, which one of the main sword fighting  styles in Japan.

Since I was a child, I have been brought up with Japanese swords. In my teens, I developed a passion for punk rock and started to express myself through music and performances. I wanted to pursue something related to Japanese culture without limiting myself to rock music. Therefore, in 2002, I researched and began learning Japan's oldest performance arts known as "Kagura," specifically "Tengu-Kagura" (a sacred dance where the dancers wear a Tengu mask. The Tengu are also known as the gods of martial arts).

I also took an interest in NINJUTSU, which was practised around 400 years ago during the Edo period by the ninja clans. It was then that I realised how deeply rooted the traditional Japanese martial arts are. After training for twelve years, I acquired the same skills that those ninjas had acquired 400 years ago.

I created my own unique performance, through my training by using the same spirituality and mentality that is used in Eastern Asia, which allows one to move without relying on the muscles. My strengths lie in stick fighting and performing using weapons such as Japanese swords. I have not only done stage performing, but I have also held lectures on NINJUTSU at universities in Japan.'

Darius Lukas, Bootcamp Creator & Mentor

'If I’m not compulsively flying around the world, I can be found working with my team organising samurai-inspired programmes on business & life, running online language learning platforms for Eastern Europeans, a bespoke digital marketing agency and interviewing entrepreneurs for Roger Hamilton’s Entrepreneur Institute.

I live and breathe entrepreneurship, writing and everything the Far East - Bali, the Way of Samurai, I Ching, etc. It is this very combination, which fuels my philosophy and every project I undertake.

I have also had the great privilege, for four years now, of being a part of Roger Hamilton's team at the Entrepreneurs Institute. Having spent 500 hours listening to Roger's high-level entrepreneur mentoring Crystal Circle, I began to create entrepreneur success stores, both in video and written formats.

Through the workshops that I ran in Singapore, Japan, Bali, London, and Lithuania, I have developed the Writing Method. The Writing method is a way of use what you write as a tool to help people gain clarity, reduce stress and transform their lives & businesses.

I had pursued a career in theatre directing and scriptwriting, before relocating to Asia and taking up entrepreneurship. Having graduated from a Master's degree in Theatre Directing at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art and Bachelor's degree in English Literature at the University of East Anglia, I travelled to the US, China, Philippines, Finland as a scriptwriter and was officially recognised for my plays at major German theatre festivals.

In everything I do, I seek to uniquely combine story-telling principles, the Wealth Dynamics system, writing therapy, and samurai philosophy & training.'

I joined a famous ninja and samurai clan to begin my training and have soon become known for my expertise in samurai fighting strategies, and have been featured across Japanese media as ninja Narashino. I have also invited to consult on several Hollywood films.

As a ninja and martial arts researcher, I have studied and led the practice of mountain training at the International Ninja Society.

I have travelled with my work internationally, and I am deeply passionate about teaching ancient Japanese culture and martial arts in how it transforms people’s thinking.’
